Our trip to the Safari

While Herman, Leah, & Davie were in town visiting, we took a trip to Natural Bridge Drive-thru Safari! So,... we woke up at the crack of dawn, loaded the ice chests, loaded the van, got Granny, and headed that way!

The kids had SO much fun, I definitely want to go back some time!

Here are the kids....
HOW CUTE!

We started off at the petting zoo.
Lexi loved petting the goats!

Davie had to prove to Cooper that they were safe!

"Look Mom!! See.... they won't bite me!!"

Time to load up in the van and drive thru to see the "Wild"!!
The kids were able to roam around in the van freely, while Granny & I sat in the back and laughed at them!!

Lexi got to feed a longhorn UP CLOSE!!....
And....

a little too personal!
He went to TOWN licking the van!
He didn't stop until we finally had to drive off!

Davie enjoyed petting the zebras!!

THE ATTACK OF THE OSTRICHES!
Everyone thought I was crazy until they started pecking at the windows!!
They are vicious!

I was standing thru the sun roof and caught Leah in action!

After the safari, we went to go pan for gold and jewels!
The kids LOVED this part of it!
