Clarence heads to H-town

Clarence got tickets to the Sweet 16 Basketball games in Houston.

So, he packed up Paul and some orange stuff and headed out!!

Here is him & Paul at the game on Friday.

Texas won, so the guys were very excited!!

Since there was a break in games on Saturday, they headed to Sweeny to spend some time with the fam. All the guys loaded up to go fishing!!

not exaggerating about how small Sweeny was!
They were both SO proud that they got a
membership card to the Armadillo - ha ha...
They had a GREAT time!!

Except for when it came to game time on Sunday...

Wrangler's Game

Lexi's dance team was recently invited back to perform at the Austin Wrangler's Football game!

It was a BIG deal and LOADS of fun!!

Since Lexi dances bare-footed for the routine they were performing, I HAD to make her some cutie-pie flip flops!! And,... then I felt that I needed some too!

On the way in, we ran into the Wranglers' mascot!!

Cooper REFUSED to go near him! hee hee...

Daisy was my surrogate hubby for the night!

She bought him cotton candy, but Cooper... being the kid he is, really wants to eat it, but refuses to touch it! So,... here is one of the few pics of Daisy,.... her hand as she is feeding him cotton candy!

The Easter Bunny Comes

The night before Easter, the Easter Bunny came to our house!

First, let me explain, that Cooper started having a horrible cough Saturday evening, so we were already prepared and it didn't look good!!

Lexi went to bed at 8:30pm, but didn't go to sleep until 10:30pm,

which meant I couldn't go to sleep until 12:30am.

THANK GOODNESS Suzie was here to help me finish my "chores".

Cooper woke up at 3am, because he was feeling awful and running fever! He was very shocked and a little angry that the Easter Bunny

had left such messy tracks all over the house!!

Looks like the Easter Bunny sat in Cooper's booster seat and ate a snack!

We forgot to set him out a snack,... BUT luckily,

he just made himself at home and went digging in the pantry!

Cooper never did go back to sleep, and he was SO congested! Finally, at 5:30am, I gave him some Benadryl! So,... OF COURSE, Lexi was up at 6:30am well rested and VERY excited!

I let her stay up and look at all of her stuff.

But,... we didn't DARE wake up Cooper!

We were scared!

Wen he did wake up, Lexi led him through the tracks and explained what all the Easter Bunny had done! Lil' Momma!....

Granny & Grandaddy came later for lunch and gave the kids their Easter baskets.

Lexi got "Enchanted" - a VERY cute DVD!

Cooper is looking thru a Kaleidoscope!

Time to hunt the eggs.... it was VERY cold, so they had to

change out of their cute Easter outfits!

Cooper beat Lexi to one of the tricky eggs!

Granny & Grandaddy also got them a game that is like

half tennis and half tether ball!

It took a little while to catch on and a few whacks in the face,

but they are getting better :)

After nap time, I made them put their clothes on so I could take pictures.

Cooper was plenty drugged up, so he didn't really fight me too much.

Unfortunately, we did not get a picture of all 4 of us!

I had actually got us all clothes so that we all matched!

Maybe another day when everyone is well.

We also had our neighbor, Joyce, over and her daughter, Valerie.

It was a great time with LOTS of food and laughs!

I know it may not seem like a big deal to you, but to us,... it was a day to recognize!

We FINALLY changed Lexi's earrings!

She has had SO much trouble in the past, we are sticking with gold!

And,... it was very hard for her and me, but she really wanted to change them out!

So,... here she is in her gold horseshoe earrings!

Dying Easter Eggs

This was the first year that Cooper was REALLY into it!

We had a great time!

Aunt Suzie was there to help things go smooth!

Cooper & the Pirate party

Coop was invited to his friend's, Tim, pirate birthday party!

It was one of THE BEST birthday parties I have been to in a long time!

You could totally tell that the mom worked SO VERY hard and she did a FANTASTIC job!!

I,... OF COURSE did NOT remember my camera AT the party.

One thing I thought was so cute:

when the kids arrived to the pirate party, they each received a t-shirt decorated by the mom with a unique pirate name. Coop's pirate name was

"Enrico Jellybones"!!

For some reason, I thought that was SOOOOOO hilarious!

When I was trying to take his pic, he wanted to be very silly.... so here's his silly pic!

Oh,... one more thing.... the mom that decorated ALL of
these cute t's has a broken arm,... so,... all of it -
ONE HANDED!

The Solorio's Come to Visit

One of Clarence's long-time buddies now lives in Midland and recently came for a visit.

He is married to Lisa, and they have 4 children:

It was a little on the crazy side, so not many pictures got taken...

We went to go see the Easter Bunny an Cooper did NOT cry!!!

WOO-HOO!!!

Not too sure what had changed, but FINALLY!! :)

A few days later, the Easter bunny was arrested because he allegedly dropped a baby and later was found to have a warrant out for his arrest! Good Times!!

Cooper on Kool-Aid

This day was one of those RARE occasions that Clarence gave permission for Cooper to drink Kool-Aid, and I didn't go running into the kitchen stopping it.

Cooper LOVES Kool-Aid! But, because of his insane behavior,

after the fact he RARELY gets any!!

So,... it should be documented...

The Keese Klan Crawfish Boil

Well, well, well.... we had a few friends over and decided to

introduce some to "crawfish".

Here are some of the "boys" - Even though the pic is blurry, it CRACKS me up that Cooper is cheesin' & posin' SO good!!

MAYBE he got that photogenic gene!! ha ha...

I thought that this pic. was HILARIOUS!!

Lexi grabbed the camera and I have NO CLUE what Rodger is doing to Joanne!!

Then,.... it turned into "KIDS GONE WILD!"

collided and landed on the ground!

SERIOUSLY! It was VERY comical!!

Then,... Lexi fell down and the boys decided to give her "the smack down"!!

I was laughing SO hard, I almost couldn't take the picture!!

Cooper was SOOOOOOOO tired after the weekend,

he crashed out in the TOY ROOM!

I cannot believe it!!

It was a FUN night!! Lots of work, but we were

SO VERY appreciative of EVERYONE!

We can't wait to NEXT YEAR!!
