Wedding Anniversary in Galveston

For our anniversary, life was VERY busy (as always)....
So,... we found a weekend where we could get away for a couple of days and we went to Galveston.
While there, we had to enjoy the delicious cuisine:

We spent the day on the water:

Rode roller coasters:

And went to Kemah:

Hard to believe 10 years have gone by!
I am ready to enjoy the next 10 years as well with my wonderful husband!

Easter Morning was filled with:
wild flowers, seas monkeys, star wars,...

Bacon Floss (which on a said note - Lexi is OBSESSED with Bacon!!), face plates (stay tuned for fun food pictures!)....

... real, live, bunny tracks!

Before the kids woke up!
Yes,... the red bucket is FILLED with eggs... candy stuffed and confetti stuffed!

We got to dye some fabulous eggs!

GREAT time!

We ARE GOING TO TAKE Bluebonnet pictures - DANG IT!

OK - so,... I LOVE Bluebonnet pictures, but I am the *WORLD'S* worst and missing taking them every year... well.. oh no - I was *NOT* going to let that happen this year!
We were on the way to see my mom and dad, and in an area that they were BEAUTIFUL!
Problem: The kids weren't really dressed for pictures, I KNEW they had been blooming for a while & was scared I would miss it,... AND... it was RAINING!
But - I was DETERMINED!
So,... we pulled over in an un-safe location on the side of a major highway so I could get some type of pictures!
Not the best - but I got one dang it!

April Fools' Day!!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE April Fools' Day...
As each year goes by, I am getting better and better.
I was raised with a family of pranksters... and have SO many FUN memories of that!
So, this year was NO different!!
Lexi even dressed up for school:
Crazy girl!!

Well,... this year, I took the kids by TOTAL surprise!
In the middle of the night, I switched them in their beds.
It was HARD work,... especially because Lexi is getting SO big.
They NEVER woke up - didn't even MOVE!
So, here is Lexi in Cooper's bed:

When they woke up the next morning for school,... they were SO confused!
It was SUCCESS!

My fave pics from TBall

2010 Spring T-Ball changed our world!
The world of baseball is a CRAZY one, but Cooper LOVES it SO very much!
Here are some of my favorite pictures from the season.
There are alot of them,... I just couldn't help myself :)

Cooper running down a player to tag him out.

Cooper racing to the base to get an out:

Good catch!:

Tags a kid on base:

And... another:

Here's his face after his first home run!!:

I think this picture is HILARIOUS!
Look at Cooper's Teammate watching him...
And, look at Cooper's look of determination!

Playing on the playscape between games:

We had such a GREAT season!
I have a feeling this will be the first of many~

Spring Break in Bandera, TX

For Spring Break, we had the pleasure of going to Bandera, TX -
The "Cowboy Capitol of Texas"
Santa Clause brought us this GREAT trip for Christmas!
We were also surprised to learn that we were going to be staying at "Casa Del Bonnie"... which JUST SO HAPPENS to be Aunt Suzie's Momma's house! ;)
There were deer in the yard every morning and night:
We got to eat at this local eatery, which is SO random and famous!
A restroom at one of the local gas stations:

Had to stop at Arkie Blue's!

Our nights were filled with playing cards, dominoes, and Bingo:
Ummm... did I miss something?

Beautiful Drive:

Lost Maples State Park:

Hiking in the back yard:

Ms. Bonnie had cute Welcome Baskets for the kids!
Such nice Southern Hospitality!
Ohhh... the sites we saw....

We had such a GREAT and RELAXING vacation!
Thank you SO much to Ms. Bonnie for letting us stay in your home :)
