Egg Gathering Over Spring Break

For Spring Break we went down to my parents for a few days. My niece and nephew were also there, so of course my parents were LOVING every minute of it!

Big Daddy has a friend that raises chickens so we loaded up the kids and went to gather the eggs.
This was the second time for my kids and the first time for Cy & Cortheye. They were all so cute because they thought that it was SOOOOO cool... it was a new experience!

Big Daddy had to explain that the eggs were raw... NOT boiled :)

For the record - YES, it was St. Patrick's Day!

Crawfish Boil

We decided on a whim to have a crawfish boil. We threw it together pretty fast and everyone brought food and drinks, so it really came together great!!

Daisy brought this awesome luau cake!

Easter Egg Hunt

Our MOPS group had an Easter Egg hunt the other day. It was a great way to get in the mood for Spring. Even though it rained on that day and we had to have the hunt indoors, it was a LOT of fun! Here is Cooper with Isaac (my friend, Bridget's, son), showing off their eggs!

Today, Lexi had a field trip to a cavern close by!

I was lucky enough to be a chaperon... HOORAY!
It was SO much fun, that Lexi wants to have her birthday party in the cave!

Oh yes,...

It may seem to all of you that I have fallen off of the Blogging Earth! It is true!! Our computer is STILL not fixed (priorities!), but we are hoping to get it complete this Spring Break! Hooray!

So - for anyone that has e-mailed, called, texted...

asking about "the pictures from...." or

"Why haven't you been blogging"... that's why!

We have been good on the home front.

Clarence has had to work more hours than ever, but we are so thankful he has a job!!

Lexi has done great at dance contest -

earning lots of awards with her team and having a BLAST!

Cooper is involved with soccer and LOVING it!

I promise to do a little bit better - at least to type what we've been doing!!
