Kingdom Kidz Club

Our MOPS group recently had an AWESOME guest speaker. She is the founder of Kingdom Kidz Club. Check it out at www.KingdomKidzClub.com
Her story is amazing and touched all 70-something moms in a special way.

After the presentation, she gave the moms and the kids a concert!
Here is Bridget's boys, Isaac & Jax, with Cooper.

Here they are, engrossed on the singing!

Brownies Trip To Sea World

Through Lexi's Brownie troop and all of our "Cookie money" earned, we went to Sea World AND stayed the night in the shark den!!
It was AWESOME!!!
I have SOOOOO many pics to send, but just picked a few...
so, here you go....

We got to see the Beluga Whales in a behind the scenes tour.
We fell in LOVE with them!
They are SO sweet and very smart!!
Lexi & I have on our wish list: to one day swim with them!
We are starting to save our pennies!!

Here we are after riding Rio Loco - OF course, I got the wettest!!

Lexi posin'

OMG - First thing Lexi wanted to do, was to ride the "Steel Eel"!! Well,... here it is!!
We convinced one of her friends, Maddie, to go with us.
Hmmmm..... what to say about it?!?!
"Mother of the Year"???
Lexi had that look at the first drop off, which was "Why are you trying to kill me?!?!"
I felt HORRIBLE!!
I didn't even realize I was on a roller coaster, because I was just trying to keep her calm and focused on ME instead of DEATH! It was horrible!
I think she tore my shoulder because she was holding on SO tight!!

Here is the Steel eel...

We didn't get to see our pillows until 10pm!!
They kept us busy!
Here we are in the shark tank, about to go to sleep!
Even thought there were sharks and sting rays swimming in front of us,
we were SO tired, we passed out!!

Here is some of the troop with the Sea World gang!

Here is some of the troop with Takisha, our AWESOME counselor!

Here is the overnight crew with our issued t's!

Julie took this picture and I LOVE it!!

Lexi at the water!

We had a BLAST!! Even though it was pretty expensive,
it was a lifetime opportunity!

I would recommend it to ANYONE!
it ROCKED!!

Cooper got sick!!

Mr. Cooper got pretty sick, and we found out
he had an infection in his lung.
We were issued a breathing machine -
and although we know SEVERAL kiddos
that use one daily, it still freaked me out!
Eventually, Cooper became cool with it!

Here he is, giving me the "thumbs up" to let me know he's all good!

He thought it was kind of funny!
It made weird noises whether he opened or closed his mouth...
so we turned it into a game!!

Cooper's Bike Rodeo

Cooper goes to Awanas at our church.
Recently, they had their annual "Bike Rodeo".

We get to decorate the kiddos bikes -
with their "help", and they have a bike carnival.

Cooper had WAY TOO much input on his bike.
I was totally going a different direction,
but NOOOOOO.... he wanted a "patriotic bike"!!

So,... here you go...

Here's Cooper weaving around the cones.

The kids got to get out and play games.
There's Cooper's "concentration tongue!!"

Here's Cooper's Cubbies class with his buddy - Mr. Mike!

Here's Cooper cheesing with his "Patriotic Bike"!

Joyce has guests

My neighbor had some guests from out of town, and we were
invited over to hang out.

They cooked oysters - every which way you could imagine!!
They were YUMMY!!!

Here is Joyce, Kevin, & Victoria.

Here are some grilled oysters with garlic butter and mozzarella cheese. They were SO good, my mouth is watering now! Plus,... the kids LOVED them!

Here are the girls on the trampoline. No,... being the over protective mom that I am, I did not allow Lexi to jump on the trampoline. She was allowed to sit on it, and the girls even liked to star gaze.

Me & Clarence!

Me & Joyce!

Texas baseball game

Recently, Clarence invited a couple of his friends to the Round Rock Dell Diamond. The Texas Longhorns were playing a baseball game there. Wes loaded up the RV and they cooked hot dogs and tailgated before the game.

Here's Wes & his boys, Camden & Ashton.

Here's Cooper, about to do the "hook 'em" sign.
Looks like I have my work cut out for me to convert him to an Aggie!!

YEAH - they won!!

The "day After"

Well,... since I am so far behind on my blog, and have gotten pictures from several different people and got a new camera, my pictures are pretty unorganized, which is going to make the blog unorganized! Sorry!!

So,... later you'll read about a really cool surprise birthday party.
This was the day after!!
I had lots of family in town, so we had them over for lunch the next day.

Clarence grilled shrimp!

Clarence also got a little frisky with the water hose!!
Which,... was a bad choice!
It put Cooper in "attack mode", and as soon as he got his chance,
he grabbed the hose and ran for everyone.

Oh,... there were lots of tears and LOTS of people got pretty wet!
I can't believe I was out of harm's way and caught him in action!

Of course, we had to get some "Sing Star" action!

Lexi, Cylas, Cricket, Eli, & Cooper.
Eli didn't get to join us until later, but we really enjoyed having her!

My cousin, Daniel, was having a hard time telling me "good-bye".
He was REALLY going to miss me!! ha ha

More "Sing Star" - I am beginning to wonder if we have some type of addiction!

Note to self - NEVER have a can of Redi-Whip around my uncles!
Here is Uncle Shorty about to get Lora!

Here's Uncle Pete RIGHT AFTER he sprayed his mouth with Redi-Whip!
Then,... he was trying his VERY hardest NOT to laugh!!

Uncle Shorty & Cindy

Julie's youngest son, Will.
This was my first time to meet him and he is a
DOLL!

This is the ONLY picture I could get of the big boys together!
YES, I know it's blurry, but they really are fast!

Mother/Daughter Tea

The same weekend my parents came into town, just happened to be a Mother/Daughter tea at our Church!!
How lucky is that!!

Here is Lexi and one of her new friends!

Lexi felt "all grown" as she was sipping on her tea!

Grandma Cissy, Lexi, & me!
We sure were stylin'!!!

The kids

My dad and I went shopping earlier in the day and
found the boys these CUTE matching outfits!!
Lexi got a Webkins and LOVED it!
But,.. the boys look SO handsome here!!

In order to get them to smile for the above picture,
I had to PROMISE to let them do a silly face.
Sooo,... here you go...

Lexi's class play

Lexi's class studied different versions of "Jack and the Beanstalk", then they wrote 3 different plays. Lexi was Jack's sister.
Granny & Grand-daddy came to watch!

Even Daddy was able to get off of work to watch.

My Surprise 30th B-Day

So,.. my wonderful friends threw me a surprise 30th birthday party,...
2 months AFTER my birthday!
It was very impressive, and even considering that only one of them live in the area!! (sorry Bridget!)

Clarence didn't even know!
There were over 300 pictures taken, it was SO hard to figure out which ones to go on the blog. So,.. I want to go ahead and apologize, because there was just no possible way to get a pic of everyone on here. But,... I appreciate EVERYONE who came and I got an awesome picture album from Shannon & Wes, so I will put all of my birthday pictures in that and treasure the memories FOREVER!!

And,... FYI - I WAS dressed VERY cute, in a brand new black dress, but Jodie's hubby made me this awesome 30th shirt and crown, and since I am a meanie to my friends on their birthday, they FORCED me into it!! ha ha

So,.. here is the family!

Here are my girls!!
I am so blessed that I have such great girl friends!

My cousin Daisy was there! She was a HUGE help with the kiddos!!

The Boys in the Hood!

Here is Clarence with my Uncle Pete.

Me with Big Daddy, Lexi, & Grandma Cissy.

Apparently, when you get old, you MUST wear a mu-mu!
So,... here's mine!

Blowing out the candles on my "Dirty Thirty" cake!

My mom with her
soon-to-be sister-in-law, Cindy,
and sis-in-law,Amy.

Even my cousin, Julie came from Corpus area!

Here was our AWESOME view from the deck!

Here is my parents with Lexi!!

Thanks to everyone that came, wanted to come, and all of those that sent wonderful birthday wishes - even back in January!!
I had a BLAST and am SO blessed for everyone in my life!
