Neighborhood Halloween Party

We stayed in town this year for Halloween.
As most of you know, we usually go to my parents house.
This year we decided to stay here and experience Halloween in our Hood!

Lexi and her friend, Bailey organized a Halloween party.
The neighbors came and we all ate and played games before the trick-or-treating began.

I made decorative pretzel rods:

Lexi as a ladybug and Cooper as Optimus Prime.
BTW - this was Cooper's first year to have an opinion about what he wanted to dress up as!
BOO! I REALLY wanted him to be a garden gnome... but, nooooo.....
I lost!~

They had a costume contest & Cooper won the "Tough Award"!
Lexi and Bailey made the cute awards and made sure every child got one :)

Taking the time out to pose for the camera :)

Bobbing for Apples!

My mom makes this for Halloween, so since we weren't together:
The Snake Sandwich LIVES ON!!

After trick-or-treating,
SO HAPPY with all the candy he got!

In our neighborhood, we have a house that sets up a Haunted House.
This was our first year to try it out.
The girls, Lexi & Bailey, REALLY wanted to go!!

Here they are before going in!

We got separated, so D and I got to go together -
before anybody says anything -
Lexi wanted to go with Bailey,
and Bailey wanted to go with her mom,...

After coming out, I am laughing so hard, because I screamed like a little girl when somebody was about to get D!! Lexi thought it was HILARIOUS!

It was such a FUN night!!
We missed Grandma Cissy & Big Daddy SO much,
hopefully next year we can spend it together.

Early Halloween Party

Halloween Party at Aunt DeeDee's!!

Cooper's Godmother had a GREAT Halloween party the night before Halloween and invited us.
We had a GREAT time!!

Here's Aunt DeeDee and Me...
check out her hair!!

We played a mummy game.
Cole was supposed to be the mummy,
but somehow, Cooper got wrapped up as well!

Optimus Prime and Ladybug!

Lexi's Birthday Party - So You Think You Can Dance

For Lexi's Birthday, instead of having a party, she wanted to go see the tour, "So You Think You Can Dance"! So,... a month after her actual birthday, we got to go.
It was me, Lexi, Aunt Suzie, and Lexi's friend Kaitlyn.

We had SO much fun,... here are some highlights of the night:

We went to "Hut's" to eat beforehand.
Hut's is voted one of Austin's Best Burgers...
which is one of Lexi's favorite foods!

She agreed with the rating 100%!!

Now it's time:
SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE!!

Me and Lexi posing before the show starts.
I like how Suzie got the banner in the background!

I brought glow rings for everyone to wear!

We ran into our friend, Moon-Pie!

Also,.. our friends Tori & Ali!!

The show was FANTASTIC!!
We had SUCH a fun time!!
Happy Birthday Lexi :)

Joyce's Halloween Party

My neighbor has an annual Halloween Party.
It is ALWAYS a great turn-out and we always have lots of fun.
Some of my neighbors and I decided to go as "Redneck Beauty Queens"...
well,... it ended up only being me and one other girl,
but we still had TONS of fun!!

From left to right: Ms. Demeanor (equipped with tattoos, "Gangsta" ring, and a trendy ankle bracelet), Little Dead Riding Hood, Ms. Quito, and T-Shirt Winner.

Another Great year!

Pumpkin Carving Party

We have gotten very close to our neighbors and we decided to have a Pumpkin Carving Party at our house one night. We had SO much fun!!

Cooper getting started early... scooping out the seeds to be roasted later.

Clarence and Cooper getting started...

Bailey and Lexi... scooping out.
Look at ALL of those seeds!

Lucas, Cooper, and Cami
played after they carved and painted their pumpkins.

Taking the time to pose for the camera!

Had to sneak one in real quick :)

The finished product:
Our AWESOME Pumpkin display!!

Definitely will be a tradition to keep up!!
