Jason Mraz concert

My friend Suzie & I saw Jason Mraz (with Bob Schneider - YAY!) about 2 years ago.
Jason Mraz was coming back, so Suzie bought the tickets and twisted my arm REAL hard (yeah, right!) and we headed to Stubbs!

Of course it was a GREAT show!!

If you don't know who he is, you should check him out:

Playgroup Halloween Party

We had a Halloween party at our house for Cooper's play group. Everyone brought over a YUMMY snack and the kiddos dressed up, along with mom - Alicia! YAY!

Here's Cooper painting a pumpkin...
This was NOT the best idea I've ever had.
Kids in costumes + paint = a mess!

We played a game that I called "Witches' Stew"... Cooper thought of what ingredients a witch would put in her stew: Green Tongues, brains, worms, spiders, etc...
Each child got their ingredients and had to suck them up, one by one, to put in their cauldron.
It was SO funny!!

Here's the crew!!

Cooper stuffing pizza in his mouth!!
SERIOUSLY?!??!

We had super fun!
Thanks to everyone that came and helped out!

Dinoland

On a whim, I took Cooper to a new exhibit at Zilker Park called "Dinoland".
We had SO much fun!!

We walked around the botanical gardens and someone took our picture on a cute butterfly bench!

There is no eating in the garden, so we had a picnic in the car.

Here is Cooper "reading" about prehistoric plants.
I thought this was SO cute!

Here is Coop with one of the dinosaurs.

We had SUCH a good time!
You can see his enjoyment all over his face!

"Fun Run"

Lexi's school had a fun run. Everyone got a certain number of sticks (depending on if they were a student, a teacher, or a visitor) for every lap that they did.

Cooper & I went to join in on the fun!
But,... he got tired after 4 laps, so we sat on the curb & cheered Lexi on!

Here she is, showing off her sticks.

After the run, we cooled off with some water.
Look at all of those sticks!!

NKOTB 2008!

Some of my friends and I went to the NKOTB concert!
It was AWESOME!
I feel a little silly saying that, but there is no denying it!
They were even better than they were when I saw them in 7th grade...
There was NO lip-synching and they sang and danced for a long time!
We had SO much fun!!

Here are the girls!

Oh yes,... we all had to wear our blinking glow-rings!

Here are the New Kids....

Re-planting

We had to transfer some plants that had over-grown their home. The weather was PERFECT! Wish it would stay like this forever!

UT Football game

Well,... on Saturday's college football is a big part of our lives.
All of my family, except for me, are HUGE Longhorn fans. If you ask me, I think it is some kind of brain washing, but I can't quite figure it out.
The good news: is that we gt to spend time together as a family!
Here is the crew in the burnt orange (gag) getting geared up for the game.

After the game, we MUST do some celebratory break dancing!

And,... it's just NOT a Saturday night if we don't play Sing Star!
