So Sorry!

Well, well, well...
I never knew so many people read the blog! But, when I got busy and unable to do any updating,... you definitely let me know! Recently,... some curve balls have been thrown to us. And,... through one of the MOST spiritual experiences of my life, Jesus handed a gift over to our family. I have been blessed to be named one of the new co-directors of Shining Stars - a Christian based Dance team that Lexi has been participating in for the past 4 years. It has been an insane journey, but it is WONDERFUL for my entire family!!
On top of all of that - we've been trying to enjoy our summer, go on vacation, and still keep our home in order! No complaints here - just not much time to blog!
BUT - things are really falling into place, so my "break" was only temporary!
So,... enjoy the updates,...

At Grandma Cissy's & Big Daddy

Cylas' Birthday

While we were visiting my parents' house,
we were fortunate enough to celebrate Cylas' birthday!

We played in the pool!

Then a QUICK storm came, so we ran into Grandma Cissy's shop!
Luckily it passed really fast!

We got to eat cupcakes with BLUE icing!

We even got to play Guitar Hero!
It was SUPER fun!!

Uncle Shorty Gets Married!!

My Uncle Short got married to a GREAT friend of ours, Cindy!
It was quite the celebration!!

I mostly hung out with the kiddos, so I apologize for not having any pics of the grown-ups!

The next day, Uncle Shorty's back was hurting him,
so the boys took turns giving "karate chop" massages!

The new Water Slide!

Granny & Grand-daddy got the kids a dual birthday present this year -
a water slide!
They gave it to the kids a little bit before Cooper's party,
so he could get accustomed to it!

The kids & Swim Lessons

The kids took swim lessons through the City.
I was able to schedule them at the same time - that was GREAT!

Our trip to Champion Park

While my mom, Cortheye, & Cylas were visiting, we took a trip to Champion Park!
It was a BLAST!

We took a hike down the trails there...
It was BEAUTIFUL!

Lexi & Cylas did some mountain climbing!

In the sand pit, the boys enjoyed digging...

And,... the girls enjoyed building sand castles!

We brought a picnic lunch and enjoyed it under a shady tree.

Grandma Cissy brought some books and read to the kids to keep them "up-to-date" on their summer reading!

Cooper's 4th Birthday Party!

For Cooper's 4th Birthday Party, we had a "Monster Jam" Theme in our back yard!
The party was a blast, even though the parents were burning up hot!!

It was SO hot, that it made the radio stop working,
so me, Shannon, Nancy, & Mom did some GREAT humming!!
