CAMP BULLDOG - Backyard fun!

During this day, we played in the back yard and had LOTS of fun!

Here the boys are painting "pet rocks"...
Big Daddy's supervises.

The girls are jumping in the pool.
Air Born!

The boys jumping in the pool.

We even made stepping stones!

The kids are on alert for all of those South Texas bugs!

GOOD TIMES!

CAMP BULLDOG - Indoor Water Park

The next day, we loaded up and went to an indoor water park.
It really was a LOT of fun!!

HOWEVER,... if you go - PLAN to wear your swimsuit and get in the water.
IF NOT,... it is like sitting in a sauna.
As you can see,... my mom & I are literally melting...
See our hair and shiny faces?

Cooper had a fascination of the water spouts...

Our tough guys!

Our crazy girls in the "lazy" river...

Taking a little break to pose for the camera.

CAMP BULLDOG - Bass Pro Shop

Soooo,.... on the way home from the museum, we decided to stop by the Bass Pro Shop.
OH YES,... STILL going!!

It was a lot of fun, and we could have spent longer there, the kids LOVED it, but were SO tired and cranky!
My family are not "gun people"... we're just not big hunters, not that we're against it or anything, but we'd take a fishing pole over a rifle ANY day :)

But, they have this cool set up, where they have fake rifles that shoot out lasers and whatever you shoot does something silly.
The kids had a BLAST!

Here's Big Daddy "watching" the boys - ha ha...

This was just funny - Lexi is hanging upside down...

CAMP BULLDOG - Houston's Childrens' Museum

After the Orange Show, we loaded up and went to the Houston Children's Museum. If you have never been, it is AWESOME! There is LOTS to do there and the kids had a BLAST!
Sunday is 1/2 price, so if you go on Sunday, expect a BIG crowd :)

The boys got to learn about sound of a guitar.

The girls learned about the sun.

Below is the ONE thing I would NOT recommend.
It is a 3 story maze made up of ropes and platforms.
The ways to get in and out are "hidden", and the paths are straight forward...
It was VERY confusing!
Luckily, we didn't have to get the girls out in a hurry.
But, there was a point, where they couldn't get out!

Cooper & Cylas played dodgeball...
Not the kind that we are used to - in a sweaty gym with a 100mph ball pouncing your face,... but this was a lightboard.
It was VERY cool, and Grandma Cissy and I decided we needed one at the house -
until Cooper got punched in the mouth.

Cooper & Cylas could have spent the whole time on these,... but we had to share :(

Sitting patiently as they wait for the grown-ups to get them "registered"...

Lexi pulling her self up.

This just about says the end of the day -
Lexi is fussing at Cylas
and
Cylas is passing out on the bench.

Time to go home...

CAMP BULLDOG - The Orange Show

The "Orange Show" in Houston is this neat little place.
There is a lot of history behind it.
It is also where the "Art Car" parade got it's roots from.

Here we all are visiting it...

It was once an old theater...
the girls are standing where the show would be and the boys are standing where some of the seating is.

Big Daddy and the girls take a break and sit down...

Grandma Cissy stands nervously with the boys as they look over so I can take their picture :)

Make a wish in the wishing well...

If you're in the area, it's a neat place to stop by,
however I would NOT recommend taking little kids...
It is NOT very child friendly.

CAMP BULLDOG - Train Ride

We took the kiddos to ride the train!
It was SO much fun!

Seriously... how CUTE are they!?!?
Watch out ladies in a couple of years!

Look at the girls...
Even Smurfette rode along!

Here are all the kids with Grandma Cissy & Big Daddy!

Here's their Camp Bulldog shirts.

CAMP BULLDOG - Swimming

We got to spend a few days at my parents house - which is ALWAYS SO much fun!
We call it "Camp Bulldog"... that is the mascot of their town, so Lexi came up with it.

Here are the kids having fun in the back yard.

Lexi & Cortheye made up a synchronized swimming routine.
SERIOUSLY?!?!
How cute is that?

Yes,... Chica, the dog LOVES to get watered.
Cylas was taking his turn...

Here are the boys taking a break...
Cooper kept saying he was cold...
HOWEVER, it was over 100 degrees...
so, not too sure about that!

Now, Cortheye is taking her turn watering Chica...
That dog is CRAZY and she really loved it :)

More to come...

Makenna Turns One!!

One of my friends from a LONG time ago, April,
her baby girl turned ONE!
I had the great pleasure of being in ton to celebrate the wonderful day!

Lora (Aunt RaRa) and I are posing while Mrs. B TRIES to take a picture!
After about 3 times, then Mason stepping in, I think we got a good shot!

Cooper and Cylas playing outside.
Let me explain the mohawk...
The day before I had taken Cooper to get his hair cute.
He REALLY wanted a mohawk...
I was really on board until the last second, when I envisioned him with a rat tail.
Now,... if you have a "rat tail', I do not mean to offend you, it's just not my thing.
It's right up there with a mullet.

So,... the bargaining chip, was that I could STILL FIX his hair in a mohawk!

April and sweet pea Makenna...

Big Daddy keeping an eye on all of his grandkids...

The girls were lounging by the mister... trying to stay cool...

Unfortunately, I did not get a picture of Ally!
It was crazy trying to catch up with people I haven't
seen in FOREVER and help chase 4 kids!

We had a BLAST!

Cooper's Birthday :)

Cooper turns 5!!
This is his actual birthday!
Suzie came over and had just a small dinner.

I had just taken my neighbor to the hospital and was WORN out - I think you can tell in my eyes. Cooper still had TONS of fun!

All he wanted to eat for his SPECIAL birthday supper:
mac'n'cheese and "meat pizza"...
EASY!

Here he is with his birthday cookie :)

The back of his birthday shirt:

The front of his birthday shirt:

Cooper got a bat with flames on it!:

And some balls... had to be wiffle balls so no windows get broken.

My precious baby boy is 5!
HARD to believe :)
